Eagan homes, and what that means on the day.

1980s and 90s two story homes and split levels, townhome associations throughout, and apartment and condo communities near Yankee Doodle Road and Cliff Road.

Split levels and two stories are the norm, so almost every Eagan move has stairs. Tell us how many flights there are during your estimate, and we will send the crew size to match. Associations here also want notice on truck parking.

Parking, permits and buildings

Getting the truck to the door in Eagan.

From November 15 to April 15, whether or not there is snow, Eagan allows daytime parking from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. only on the side of the street matching the date (even house numbers on even days, odd on odd days), with both sides allowed every night, and violators may be ticketed, towed or both. The city says vehicles over 9,000 pounds gross vehicle weight may be parked in the street for no longer than 6 hours, and semi trailers may be in residential districts only for loading or unloading. Eagan does not allow dumpsters, trailers or storage pods in the street, with no exceptions, so they must be placed on the property in the driveway or yard. Crews begin plowing once 2 inches of snow is on the ground. The city says private street plowing is coordinated through neighborhood associations.

Based on the city's own rules as of September 2026. City rules change, so check with the city before move day.
