Storage through a moving company works differently from renting a unit yourself. You are not carrying anything, you are not renting a truck twice, and you are not guessing what is in which box six weeks later.
Short term and long term
One day, one week, several months. There is no minimum stay that forces you to pay for time you do not need.
Your items are handled once
We load at your old place, hold it, and deliver into the new one. You are not paying for two full moves with a self storage run in the middle.

You get a list of what went in, so nobody is guessing about what is in storage or where it ended up.

Not sure what your items need? Furniture, electronics, artwork, instruments and documents all have different requirements, and a short stay in summer is a different question from a long stay over a Minnesota winter. Tell your coordinator what is going into storage and how long for, and they will tell you straight which option fits.

Gap between closings
You close on the sale before you close on the purchase. Everything loads once, waits, and lands in the new house on the day it becomes yours.
Staging a home for sale
Houses show better with less in them. Surplus furniture goes into storage before the photos and comes back after closing.
Renovation or repair work
Empty the rooms the contractor needs, keep everything together and accounted for, and bring it back when the work is finished.
Downsizing
Moving to a smaller place and not ready to decide on everything yet. Hold what you are unsure about rather than making a permanent call under pressure.
Seasonal and overflow

Depending on what you are storing and how long it needs to stay, your items are held either at our own location on Thurston Avenue in Anoka or with one of the partner facilities we work with regularly. Either way your coordinator knows exactly where your things are, and access is arranged through us rather than you turning up with a key.
Access is by appointment so that someone who knows your inventory can pull what you need and put the rest back properly.
